Corien is a body-oriented therapist who supports women and men in releasing physical and emotional tension and reconnecting with their body, vitality and inner strength.

Alongside full-body dearmouring, she has a special interest in the pelvic area as a foundation of the body, a place where tension, emotions, sexuality, boundaries and personal history can meet. Her work includes pelvic and genital pain and tension, sexual dysfunctions, difficulties with arousal, pleasure or intimacy, sexual healing, trauma, inner child work and scar tissue.

Corien is often described as warm, open, grounded and deeply present. She creates a safe and respectful space where people can soften and explore what wants to be felt, expressed or released. She believes the body itself can show the way when given time, attention and safety.

Her professional background is in communication, wellbeing and vitality. Since 2010, she has followed her own body-oriented path, driven by curiosity about the connection between body, emotions and healing. Her personal journey showed her how feeling unseen, adapting or losing connection with boundaries can leave traces in the body, and how bodywork can help release what the mind cannot always reach.

When Corien discovered The Gaia Method during a retreat, many years of exploration came together. Dearmouring became a powerful gateway into the body.

Today she combines The Gaia Method and Dearmouring with Integral Pelvic Therapy (IPT®), Prostatic Portal®, breathwork, energy work, fascia and psoas work, sound and MSTR® Scar Tissue Release.

At the heart of her work is trust in the body’s own intelligence and self-healing capacity.
