Self Dearmouring - 20 June 2020

This class covers self de-armoring techniques focused on releasing tension in the clitoral, vaginal, and cervical tissue, with emphasis on breathwork, body positioning, and touch technique. It opens with guidance on breathing patterns for expansion versus contraction, intention-setting, and hand technique (including switching to the non-dominant hand), then covers clitoral anatomy and hands-on methods—stretching, circular movement, tapping, and "microneedling"—for working the clitoris, inner and outer lips, and perineum. The class then moves into internal work, covering the vaginal opening (including the tissue known as the hymen ridge), the G-pad, and the cervix, with guidance on locating these areas, working with different sensations (numbness, burning, pulsation), and using breath, sound, and pelvic movement to support release. Throughout, it addresses how to read the body's readiness signals, the connection between physical tension and emotional release, and how to safely conclude a session. A closing guided rest period is followed by a brief Q&A and closing discussion covering topics such as bringing this practice into partnered sex, recurring patterns of tension, and ongoing self-de-armoring as a ongoing practice rather than a one-time fix.
