Self Dearmouring - The Overlooked Anus

This class is a focused session on anal de-armoring, covering anatomy, common sources of tension in this area, and hands-on technique. It opens with an explanation of the outer and inner anal sphincter (including which parts are consciously controllable), how non-sexual experiences — such as childhood medical procedures or birth-related hemorrhoids — commonly create tension here, and practical guidance on hemorrhoid care during practice, including why they form and how to manage them safely. The class then works through a systematic sequence around the sphincter using holding, circular movement, and stretching, supported throughout by breath to ease into deeper release. Throughout, it addresses recognizing different sensations in the area and finding a workable body position for solo practice. A closing rest period is followed by a Q&A on hemorrhoids, sphincter positioning, and technique.
