Self Dearmouring - Vaginal Opening Intensive

This class is a focused session on the vaginal opening, particularly the tissue known as the "hymen ridge" or vaginal corona, covering anatomy and hands-on de-armoring technique. It opens with an explanation of why this area (about one to two centimeters inside the opening) tends to hold more tension than the rest of the vagina, its embryological origin, and how it commonly develops pain patterns from childbirth, premature penetration, or insufficient arousal. The class then works through external preparation — massaging the vulva and stimulating the Bartholin glands — before moving into detailed work around the opening itself, including a "yoni yawning" technique for gentle entry, systematic exploration of the ridge at different clock positions (front and back sides), and a final stretching technique using the thumbs. Throughout, it addresses reading the body's sensitivity (numbness versus pain versus normal sensation), how emotional memories (including anger, sadness, or fear tied to sexual experiences, childbirth, or medical exams) can surface in this area, and the role of breath, sound, and patience in supporting release. A closing rest period is followed by an extended Q&A covering topics such as falling asleep or dissociating during practice, working with impatience or overwhelm, and how sensations here can connect to early childhood or safety-related emotional patterns.
